Hello All,
Our client reqirement is to print date of printing on the form not the transaction date.sy-datum is already being used which gives transaction date what should be done to print date of printing on the form.
Thanks
Mahesh
Hi
if you are using sy-datum of simply &date& then it will give the current date.but when you give the print command then it goes to sap spool with otf/pdf format.now when you get the printout of it you will get everything as it is same as the spool becouse at the time of printing you dont run ur code.it is like just taking the print of whatever is available in the spool
if you print immediately your job is done but
if you print after sometime or some days the it will print the old date.
for that you can leave the date blank and go to printer and set the printer to print the current date in some specific X Y coordinates.
thanks

SY-Datum is simply system date
so it will be the date the smartform/script has been prepared.
IF you choose to print it later from spool or archive,
you cannot put this logic in the smartform/script as it is now in OTF / PDF format
No longer an active smartform/script program.
I dont think it is possible.
I think if you are printing the smartform when u create it. SY-DATUM will do.
