Hi All,
I had find out one thing in PO's Display print out in production.
Delivery address is displaying for each item of the PO's at print out that too its coming only for one PO no. we dont need to display for each items.
If all items having same delivery address then it should display in Header area.
but its not displaying even in header area also. Its displaying in each item level.
Is there any configuration problem or in PO form problem.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Subbu.
For displaying all items with same delivery in header area you need to modify thre standard print program by customizing it... Handle the loop statement according to your requirement by using control break statements.

Steve

Yes Correct Nehal,
Great Job Nehal. Thank you very much.
I think this is the reason to display delivery address in line items.
What happened know.
I created one PO in Dev server which is similar as we had problem in production.
And i executed that PO on that time its displaying properly.
Unfortunately i changed delivery address in line items and saved again, but this time its getting same problem which we had in production.
Now i understood because of YOU.
Once again Thank you very much Nehal.
If you don't mind can you give your gmail id. mine is manisesetty@gmail.com
Thanks,
Subbu.
Create one PO with Multiple Line item and create all different address in the Line items assign the Same Output type and check, if it comes out correct then there must some condition for displaying the said output in the form otherwise the logic for the Same is Missing.
Hope That Helps

Its definite ly a PO form problem: Here is the logic get all the Delivery address into an ITAB, do a Delete adjacent Duplicates in the ITAB. IF the no. of lines in the ITAB > 1 do not print the Delivery Address else print the Delivery Address in the Header Data.
Hope That Helps

Hi Subbu,
I dont know what they are called in Purchasing
but a delivery party might also have a delivery conatct person
if the contact person is different effectively the address is considered differently
Again this is just a shot in the dark. But i agree with you that it is prob a config problem.
Subbu,
I dont know how the PO print program is coded.
Is it standard or custom?. if standard what is its name.
Addresses are handled very specially by SAP.
Every party (partner function ) has a unique address number.
This address number is like a primary key for the party's address.
You will find this address number in VBPA for a particular Sales Docu.
I dont know for PO where. But SADR is the key table for addresses
It is this address number that is used in your printing module to get the address
based on the partner number.
Now if you have a contact person for that party. He/she will have a address person number. This contact person is linked to this party.
Subbu,
To confirm wheter the issue is with that single item
copy the PO into another and this time change the item to have same delivery partner function.
IF it is fine then, then we will have to change the print program
The program probably prints all addresses at line item, even if 1 is different
Which actually makes good business sense.
Imagine having one at header and one at item and then rest blank.
It will simply be confusing
Nehal,
Great Idea.
So finally you are saying like...If you have at least one item address number is differ from other item's address number, then it will display all delivery addresses for each line items. Is it correct Nehal?
This item address number will reflect in Header deliver address area?
Thanks,
Subbu
No Subbu,
This is only a wild guess but its logical.
Im thinking that only if all parties(effectively adrnr) are same, only then
will it show in header. otherwise even if one is different it should show at item level
and not header.
Because, having the header address different from item addresss will be confusing.
If u want to see a header address try having a PO with all items having same adrnr.
Hi Nehal,
I am very thankfull on you. Because you spent valuble time with this issues.
I given in Delivery ddress area like
1) Name,
2) Street House number
3) District
4) Postal code / city
5) Country, Region
6) Jurisdict code.
I have not given Address (Number of delivery address)
Customer
Vendor.
Thanks,
Subbu
Subbu,
Take the address numbers from EKPO.
Go to table SADR. There check for each different address number
what are the corresponding addresses.
I dont think a new address number is generated everytime we make an item level address entry. But check anyway.
Check in SADR for the different numbers line by line for anything different.
Check each line like street PO etc etc
