Hi,
in our environment the FTPS-server is using implicit FTPS and for several reasons explicit FTPS(RFC 4217) is out of the question.
Anyone having experience with implicit FTPS and the FTPS-possibilities of de FILE/TP-adapter?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,

Hi Shabarish,
thanks for this blog. It's usefull, but the ftps-server is reacting with the replymessage '431 Unable to negotiate secure command connection'.
With another FTPS-clienttool there is the parameter 'implicit', which stands for implicit connection with encryption without using the 'AUTH' command. That's also the problem with this FTPS-server, it can't handle the AUTH-command.
Is there a way to let the adapter change into implicit FTPS, with the commands USER, PASS, PROT, PBSZ ?
Best regards,
