Upgrade from SAP R/3 4.70 to Netweaver

My company is thinking in make an <b>upgrade</b> of

our SAP system (R/3 4.70) to Netweaver.

Can you describe to me the steps I have to follow?

Hi Rui,

Go to service marektplace and read the SAP NetWeaver Masterguide. From there it leads you to all other docs.

By the way, there is no update from R/3 to NetWeaver. NW is just the technology without the ERP software. If you do this update, you won't have any ERP to run...

Hi Rui,

sure you can, but this is not NetWeaver alone. And the name is not R/3 any longer. The product is now called SAP ERP and a number of a year. Soon we ramp up SAP ERP 2005 (which of course will include NetWeaver).
