So, I am looking for tutorial type of documents that describe how to call a web service from XI.

If u have downloaded separate wsdl files, then import all the files and use include statement

Make sure that when while importing the WSDL under external definitions, u have selected the option "wsdl".

You can get them yourself if you search SDN with the keywords "Consuming Webservice".
