Hai all,

Wt is the customization we do to determine plant at sales order?

Plz tell me.

How system determines delivering plant to the line item in Sales Order?

System determines delivering plant for a line item by the following order of Priority like below.

a) first system checks Customer Material Info record

If the plant has been maintained here, system takes from it. or else

b) Systems go to Customer Master – ship to party, if the plant has been maintain system takes from it. or else

c) It goes to Material Master, if the plant as been maintained here, then system takes it. or else

Finally the plant should be maintained manually.

Plant is determined by below in sequence

1. CMIR - Customer material information record

2. CMR - Customer Master record

3. MMR - Material Master record

Plant is determined in the sales order in the following way

1.CMIR

2.CMR

3.MMR

If a plant is existed in the cmir, it will be retrieved in the sales order if not customer master and then material master will be next priorities. If you dont maintain plant in all these levels you can enter manually while creating a sales order

hi,

plant is determined in steps

when order is created

1. first it checks up with cust material info record

2.second it checks cust master

3.last it check material master

if it is not determined by above three, u have to enter manually

The first preference will be for CMIR, if u r not maintaining any there system will pick from CMR. the last preference is for MMR.

Hi Ravi,

There is nothing like customization, while creating sales order, Plant is proposed from the master records U maintain before order creation.

Below is the order from where the Plant is copied into the sales order.

1. CMIR - Customer material information record

2. CMR - Customer Master record

3. MMR - Material Master record

You need to assign Plant to Sales Org and Dch

Plant on Customer Material Info record.

Delivering Plant on Ship-to Customer Master record.

Delivering Plant on Sales View of Material Master record.

please check the settings

1.Maintain the plant in CMIR

2.maintian the plant in CMR

3. maintian the plant in MMr Based on this settings plant will determained in the sales order
