hi all
i am using sap 4.7, it is showing some of indexes are missing
please suggest me how to rebuild that missing indexes..is it ABAPers duty or some one els, what is the procedure

Hello Balaji,
Its duty of Basis admin.
You can do itin following way.
Go to SE 38 mention RSANAORA execute.
You will get a screen where you need to mention the missing index.
Then execute it will rebuild the index.

Hi,
You can create it using SE11.
But that will need ABAPer ID. so better tell ABAPer to do that.
Following is the procedure.
1. Call Transaction SE11.
2. You must enter the respective table name under the database table and choose 'display'.
3. You must select Goto -> Indexes and 'yes' on the dialog box for the creation of a new index.
4. Enter the respective identification under the index ID and select 'continue'.
5. You must enter the short text and the respective field in the list of the index fields.
6. In order to create the index on the database, you must select index on all database systems and activate the index.
