Where to find the .properties file?

Dear All

I have deployed one WebDynPro Application and I have attached one .properties file to it. Now I want to change some configuration in the properties file, I am going to the Visual Admin but I am not able to see the file (property file that I have created in the WDP Application)

Can anyone tell me where to look for that in Visual Admin.

Thanks & regards

Vivek

Hello Vivek,

Its not in Visual administrator.

You need to find it in OS level of the Java instance.

/usr/sap/<SID>/<instance name>/j2ee/cluster/instance.properties

Kindly open it in any editor and edit it.

Thanks & Regards

I am not able to find my file as per the lacoation /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance name>/j2ee/cluster/instance.properties

Please tell me what I have to do to get that file.

Or I have to write the configuration that I have set in my .properties file

Hi Vivek,

Which operating system you are using?

If Windows: D:\(Or the drive on which you installed SAP)usr\sap\<SID>(ex:J2E)\JC00(Or DVEBMGS00)\j2ee\cluster\instance.properties

If UNIX: /usr/sap/............ The same as Windows.

There is no need to create the file on your own. System automatically writes this on installation and checks upon startup.

Revert back for any issues.

Phani.

Actually what is the .properties file you attached.

Is it related to Java configuration for WebDynpro? If so you cannot find it over here.
