Deployment Error - Clusterwide exception: Failed to deploy application

Hi All,

I'm getting deployment error while i try to deploy my project. I couldnt find the reason from already posted threads on similar issue.

Its a local object and i dont have any dependent DC's. I tried restartiing the SDM many times, but it doesnt solve the problem. I have pasted the reasons below. Kindly let help me in this regard. Have asked Basis to remove the EAR from the server.

From the deployment log it looks like, your code is referencing another object which is not yet deployed on portal was. Check the properties of project to see if you have any other project referenece or webdynpro references?

Also i notice the Unknown Host exception: Did you configure the j2ee engine parameters correctly?

Hi All.

The poroblem got solved once the Basis team removed the old EAR file from the server. The possible cause for the problem is that i have renamed the project may times and deployed it. Though i renamed the project the component name was the same, so this should have causeds the problem.

Hi Mohamed,

Ur error shows ue component has some dependencies on other components & those components are not deployed on ur server.

Sometimes this error comes without any external dependencies also,if that's the case.go to visual admin->deploy service. remove ur dc from there & redeploy from NWDS.
