Route scheduling process

Hi all,

We have got a route scheduling problem. We have defined route schedules for Dec 27th and 28th for our customers. Due to heavy workload in the warehouse we need to work on Dec 26th as well. As this is normally a holiday we removed Dec 26th from the holiday calendar. Now the factory calendar says that Dec 26th is a normal working day. We also created a route schedule entry for Dec 26th.

When creating an order for Dec 26th, we still don't get the route schedule. The system don't complain about holidays so the calendar change works fine.

If we set the delivery date for Dec 27th it works fine.

Are there some other calendar or settings we need to check?

best regards,

Glenn Karlsson

Yes,

You need to check the Holiday calendar and the Public Holiday calendar as well. This is maintained in the HR/PTM modules. You may consult your HR consultant for this.

Check T-code OY05 and check the Holiday calendar ID against the Factory calendar used by you. Again in OY05 check the Holiday calendar to find out whether the date 26th Dec is marked as holiday. Change it to working day. For this you need to change the Work schedule assignment as well.

Hope this solves your problem.

Hi,

The holiday calendar is OK. Dec 26th is a normal working day and also the factory calendar reflect this change.

Where do I check the work schedule assignment? Is this needed even if we do not use HR in our system?

best regards,

Glenn

Glenn,

Check the path-IMG-SD-BAFUNS-Route Determination-Define Route Determination by delivery type & Routes allowed actual routes for delivery...(here in this assignment you assign additional routes to proposed routes that is determined by system automatically.Even you can manually enetr these additional routes in delivery)
