Stock posting not possible

Hi All,

I am trying to put some stocks for a material using movement type 561 and transaction code mb1c,but I am getting an error which states"No stock posting possible for this material".

Please suggest how to proceed.

Go to T.Code: OMS2 and in reference to material type do quantity updation. If you are using FERT - Finished product. Highlight it and click on the "quantity/Value Updation in the LHS screen.

Go to the your valuation area which is your plant and click on tick quantity and value. Even quantity will solve your error.

I did as per the instructions, but still the problem persists.

My material is trading goods and valuation area is 1000.

I checked with mmpv, its fine over there.

Please help.

Hi Ayub,

Sorry for my previous mail, by mistake I took my valuation area as 1000 though it is 1200.

After doing the steps as instructed by you, the problem has been solved.

Hi,

As I proceeded further, using mb1c, I am getting this error which states "

Account determination for entry INT GBB ____ BSA 3100 not possible.

In this regard,I have already checked with t.code OBYC but was invain.

Please suggest something.

GO TO OMS2 MAITAINN THE QUINTITY AND VALUE UPDATE FOR THE MATERIAL TYPE AND YOUR PLANT , if further any errors revert back

Hi,

Go to <b>"OMS2".</b> Select <b>FERT or your material type</b>, <b>double click on Qty/Value Updating</b>. Here select your plant and click on <b>"Qty Updating" & "Value Updating"</b>.

Now try creating stock.

Please go to OMS2 Transaction,there u give ur material type, and enter then on the left side chose Quantity/Value Updation under dialog structure click on it.chose ur Valuation Area (.i.e,ur Plant) and material type.there will be tick under the Quantity Updation and also under the Valuation Updation.please remain the tick mark as it is under Quantity Updation.But please

REMOVE TICK MARK UNDER VALUATION UPDATION.then please don't forget to save, save n exit. then maintain stocks MB1C.

Hi Pandey,

Go through t.code OMS2, select ur material type, double click on qyt/value updating then swith on qty updating and value updating for ur valuation area.

Try to update in <b>OMS2</b> per Your material type

And also check for posting periods in MMPV and MMRV

select ur material type and click on check boxes quantity and value upddating for ur valuation area (Plant).
