Is IE 7 really compatible with SAP MARKET PLACE ?

Hello everybody

I encounter a lot of problems with IE 7 and SAP MARKET PLACE

Not all the applications run correctly

Sometimes I get blank windows

Everything runs perfectly within FIREFOX

There should be an obvious solution but anyone here to help me ?

What parameters -security- must be changed when trying to work on SAP MARKET PLACE with MS Internet Explorer 7 ?

Hi,

I recently submitted a msg on the service marketplace because the SAp passports don't work in Vista and this is the answer I got:

"IE 7.0 is not supported at the moment.

Also Vista with IE 7.0 is not supported at the moment.

There is no timeframe when this will be supported by SAP.

The error is on Microsoft´s side."

Be aware that Firefox 2.x is in most cases not supported either.

Hi,

I had some layout issues in the past and it kept asking for my password (when using e-mail as userid), so I switched to IE tab add on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

I had the password problems in the past, maybe 3 times in the last 5 months. I just cleared the SDN cookie and problem was resolved.

By now I got no real trouble in Firefox 2.X

Sometimes it re-asks me my password but the Firefox reminder seems to operate perfectly

Salut Jérome,

Have you applied to SAP's single sign-on passport? this will enable you to enter password only once, even when you browse to another SAPNET server:

go at http://service.sap.com/~sapidp/011000358700002939642002

Hi,

The SAP passport doesn't work for Firefox (unless you use IETab) and under Vista (see above)
