Advanced Search?

Hi Suresh,

The advanced search option has been available for some time. However, it remains sort of a hidden treasure as:

1. Most people use SDN for the Forums

2. Most people use the search that is within the forums to search over them rather than the external search box.

I think a few more people found it last week when we had the problem with the internal forum search and they were forced to use the external one.

I thought the option to search User/Author was removed due to some privacy issues..I remember Craig mentioning something to that extent..

The option is very useful to search for the posts you participated..

Why doesn't SDN put a google search on its pages. Life would be so much easier and maybe SDN will recoup some expenses.
