PI 7.0 config in MSCA

Hi Experts,

I will appreciate some examples and insights how a PI 7.0 system should register in the SLD in MSCA environment (two node cluster with central and dialog instance).

Especially I am interested to know how entries in the SLD - Technical Systems - Exchange Infrastructure view should look.

- Should the domain have local or virtual name?

- Should the components (IS, RWB,IR, ..) be registered on virtual domain name or they need

to be registered twice (e.g. on two domains; once per each node).

- Is it necessary do to any manual changes through SLD Content Maintenance?

When I configured the clustered environment in the past, we used the virtual hostnames, as we had implemented the MSCS.

It made the maintenance easier, and scalable.

In the Content Maintenance, you may have to make some assignments, bit normally they register okay.

At first I also registered everything on virtual hostnames, but then I got errors in AF like:

SOAP: call failed: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: Some of the IS access information is not available. SLDAcess property may be set to true, but SLD is not available.

Thus I am asking for some more precise instructions how everything should be set up or some good sap note/whitepaper about PI in HA.
