Abap Proxy Configuration

Hi experts,

For test purposes I would like to connect one backend system ERP to two XI systems for proxy communication at the same time. In this way some of proxy interfaces would be connected to one XI, and some to another XI system.

I wonder if this configuration is possible at all.

I am not sure if the configuration which we do in SXMB_ADM (R/3) is client dependent or client independent.

If it is client independent then we can only have one integration serve configured for this R/3 but if it is client dependent then we should be able to point the different R/3 clients to different XI server's...

Will appreciate if somebody can throw some more light on this..

Hi,

it is denfinitly client dependent. So i think u r on the right way, it should be possible to connect 2 XIs to 2 different clients of the same ERP.

an application system can have Proxy with only one XI system, because trough SPROXY you will be acessing the interface from IR.

at once you cannot acess 2 IR.

i dnt think it it possible.
