Integration of SAP xMII with Other Enterprise Software Products

Hi,

Can anybody throw light on integration of SAP xMII with other Enterprise Software Products like PeopleSoft, JDEdwards or OracleApps Manufacturing.

Honestly I am not sure how a transaction is executed in other Enterprise products unlike SAP xMII reading data from SAP ERP through iDoc / BAPI / RFC mode.

Has anybody built scenarios on this front? If yes! please come out with their experience.

Most likely it will rely heavily on the WebService and JDBC Interfaces of xMII.

I agree with you both on this front.

This question came to my mind, on the basis of a standalone instance of SAP xMII (Ver 11.X.X) running in a shopfloor and the need of integration with other enterprise software without any SAP NetWeaver components existing in the IT landscape.

Hi Deepak,

To be honest, I never integrated xMII with JD edward or oracle apps. But, I feel that webservice is a good solution for this.If you already implemented SAP XI, You can also use SAP XI by selecting appropriate adapter for this.
