extending customer??

How to extend existing customer , through xd01 , by giving the soldto party number i did try but i get error message "customer 10000237 has already been created for company code so xyz... can some one help me on this

Hi

The sold to party for both sales areas should be same.

In <b>XD01/VD01</b> Enter customer code specify the sale area and company code to which you want to extend

hi,

Goto xd01 , give the cust no> enter teh company code in which u want to extend & sales area> it take to screens feed the data & save

Go to T.Code: XD02 and check whther the customer has been created or not.

I doubt if you already created it.
