jcontrol error

Hi,

I get the following message in the dev_jcontrol log file.

[Thr 3516] *** ERROR => Invalid property value [box.number/J2EJC00DORGA_BIW] [jstartxx.c 789]

Due to this my j2ee server is not starting up. Can someone tell me a solution. (DORGA_BIW is my system name)

Regards,

Shobhit

Shobhit,

Have you found a resolution?

I have two boxes, one with an "ERROR" state and one with an "INFO" state. The one with the "INFO:UNKNOWN PROPERTY" runs fine the one with the "ERROR:INVALID PROPERTY" does not. Any help would be appreciated..

Thanks,

Mark

Thats a common error. I have the same error in my logs and my boxes start. I would continue to look for another error.

Hi,

When I click on my DB instance in MMC, instead of getting a DB Admin console I get the following error:

ERROR

The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://dorga_biw:9999/webdbm?Server=DORGA_BIW&Database=J2E&User=control&Password=control

The following error was encountered:

Invalid URL

Some aspect of the requested URL is incorrect. Possible problems:

Missing or incorrect access protocol (should be `http://'' or similar)

Missing hostname

Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path

Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed

I think this error may be the one you are looking for.
