When we sending the one material ( 1 IDOC ) from XI to R/3, it is working fine.

But when we trying to send more than one material( means first material in first IDOC and second material in second IDOC ..like that), it is giving error in R/3.

error is "<b>IDoc included in IDoc packet containing an error: transfer it separately</b> "

Please help..

Regards,

Nikhil

Oops

If you are sending idocs in packages then if the package contains idoc with errors then the whole package is refused. Package is only accepted if there are no idoc with errors.

Are you using BD Codes or we19 test tool?

HI,

But when we send only one material, it si working fine. so i dont think there is any problem in idoc.

Problem is , when we are trying to send 2 material in 2 IDOC's at a time, it is giving an error. Status is 51 and error is "IDoc included in IDoc packet containing an error: transfer it separately '

What have you entered in the Paketsize in WE20 for your outbound Partnernumber and IDoc ?

Go to: WE20

Choose the Partner which is communication with the XI

Choose outbound Messages and select the IDoc.

In the next window you can see the determination data like Paketsize under the port. This one should be "1".

Try it,

Hi Gordon,

We are trying to send the IDOC from XI. So there is no need of partner profile in XI.

In R/3, I think no need to set Packet size for outbound parameter( because we are getting the idoc to R/3. So only inbound message).

Hi,

You cannot send multiple idocs at once from xi to r/3. If you want to transfer multiple idocs at once then you need to use idoc bundling trick as suggested by michael by changing the number of occurances.
