Disable login in cProjects

Hi

I created a user and assigned with SAP_CFX_USER role only. With this role the user is able to login to cProjects too. How can I restrict a user to login to cFolders only and not cProjects?

Not only this user just with this role logs in, but is also able to view all tabs and create projects, which should not be the case. What am I missing?

Hi Senthil,

You can define initial views for a role in customization.

Goto SPRO -->Basic Setting --> Define Initial views for cProjects.

Against the role SAP_CFX_USER, untick all the views.

create project is nothing but an authorization object

what u can do in define intial views is that you can enable or disable display of tabs in Cproject.

as far as my knowledge goes when u assign the role of cfx user its a passport to Cfolder / cProject.

also there is 1 mandatory role that is: basis:autho for all
