Hi.
I have some installations of xMII version 11.5 and MSSQL 2000 or 2005. And I have a couple of times seen, probably after rebooting either the xMII or SQL server, that the DB connection is not re-established.
In order to get it up again, I need to open the DB connections and press save without any modifications.
Is there another cure for this?

Hi.
My validation query should be standard. My problem is also, that my queries and grids are returning NoData and if I view detaile data, an error "No valid SQL connection... something" is displayed.
In the most resent case, the xMII and DB server are located on two differnet servers.

In the xMII Menu, check <b>Data Access</b> in the option <b>Security Services</b>.
Only available servers will be shown in the list.
If your desired SQL DB is not present there, then make that server enabled/configured from <b>Data Server</b> in the option <b>Data Services</b>

Please feel free to ask furthers, if necessary
Do you have a validation query defined for the server?
