When i install IGS, the HTTP-Listener put 8030.

I go to VA and i configured the IGSUrl in Configuration Adapter, and i write custom http://clariana:8030. good?

In Visual Administrator, go to the default property sheet & verify the igs url given there. It should be given in the format http://<server>:<igs port>

visual admin -server - services - Configuration adapter --- configuration ---webdynpro - sap.com - tcwddispwda -- property sheet default

Hello ,

I dont think you have a proper installation of IGS.

In any case you should have igs.xml file where the HTTP port is visible if you dont get that then further configurations might not help.

My file og igs.xml i post before and there isn´t http port... Reinstall IGS?

Former Member

Hello,

Wait. It depends on the version if it at 6.40 then you have to reinstall.

If it is 7.0 and you dont find igs.xml it is not a problem. we can find the http port from configuration files.

Let me know which version your WAS is?

Thanks & Regards,

Vijith

Hello,

You can open the instance profile file to get the igs http port if it WAS 7.0.

The Instance profile file will have a entry igs/listener/http/ where the HTTP port is specified.

That is your IGS http port and that has to be used further.

Vijith

Hello Kanwalpreet,

I dont think that Victor is sure about the IGS port

Victor,

Go to folder @ OS level /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster/server0 and there you will find version.txt file

Open that file there you will find the server version.

If the cluster version is 7.0 then open instance.properties file which will be in path /usr/sap/<SID>/JC<INSTANCE>/j2ee/cluster there you will get the port.

Thanks & Regards,

Vijith

Hello Victor,

As I told in my previous post did you check whether IGS was installed.

I dont think there is a point in reinstalling if you already have IGS.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello,

For 7.0 we can get the igs port from instance.properties file.

But I dont think it is of any use now.

Try reinstalling the igs all the best. Do let me know if you have any doubts.

Thanks,

Vijith

Hello,

You can specify the program id as IGS.<SID>

Where SID is the system where you are installing IGS.

You can find your SID by navigating at os level to /usr/sap/XXX

Here XXX is your SID.

Host : This value is the system host on which you are installing IGS.

service : This value will we sapgwXX. To find XX navigate to /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>XX at OS level

Here XX is the instance number.

Hope it helps.

Thanks,

Vijith

Hello Victor,

What is the URl you are trying to access.

The URL would be http://servername:port

The port value would be 4xx80

Here xx is the instance number

To find the instance number at os level navigate to /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSxx

Thanks & Regards,

Vijith

if on Windows:

start -> search -> for fiels and folders

search on all hard drives for filee igs.xml

In igs.xml check the property <LISTENERHTTP port="xxxxx"/> where xxxxx is your port.

Not appear <LISTENERHTTP port="xxxxx"/>
