Triggering Alert for Idoc negative acknowledgement

Hi all,

Is it possible to trigger alerts for Idoc negative acknowledgements ??

The scenario is FileSystem->XI->R3(Idoc)

we have done the Idoc ack configurations and are able to see both positive and negative Idoc ack in XI monitoring.

But in RWB->AlertCategory we are not able to see any option for triggering alerts for neagtive Idoc ack.

Can anyone help.

The status in sxmb_moni would be successful even for th negative ack. So the alert must be raised for a successful message.

Hi Tom!

You can create a BPM to catch the exception of the send IDOC step, and then use a control step to throw the alert. Another idea: maybe you can trigger the alert or mail from the CCMS..maybe there is a condition to raise an alert based on negative acks.
