hi,
I am not able to see the namespaces/SWC's when i use the transaction SPROXY.
But strange thing is it is showing BASIS components in the list.
Rest of the SWC's are not visible.
Help needed.
Ranjit
Hi Ranjit,
you dont have connection to the integration builder. Click on the message at bottom of the side, there are some good informations and links to find out the problem.

Udo

Udo,
I have already tested the connection..
and anyway, if the connection to the IB was'nt there then it is default shown on the screen saying-"connection to the IB is'nt there hence displaying only local data"; i.e. you dont have to test it even.
If this was the problem how is it that I am able to see basis Objects?
Hi Ranjit,
>>>If this was the problem how is it that I am able to see basis Objects?
This proxy objects are by default at WAS
Did i understand right: you executing SPROXY at XI? This is senseless, the client is configured (SXMB_ADM) as integration server, it cant be an application system. Terminate that nonsense.
Regards,
Udo
Dear Udo,
>>i m very relaxed, good thinks need a while. Patience can be helpful
this confuses me
Anyway I belong to a country where great <b>Mahatma</b> <b>Gandhi</b> was born so dont worry I have a lot of patience and decency is our daily practice...
Leave everything apart... In the blog if you see it is clearly mentioned->
"<i>After the message interface is developed in the integration repository, proxy is generated on the client 100 using SPROXY transaction. SPROXY transaction lists all the message interfaces in the integration repository. We have to choose our message interface Proxy_Interface_OB and click Create.</i> "
this makes a problem...
Ranjit
thanx Khan for the reply...
and sure u will get points for this; at least somebody replied....
yes though all the SWCV's/ namespaces are activated ...i am not able to see anything in the list.
in the blog i have mentioned please take a look at --
<i>After the message interface is developed in the integration repository, proxy is generated on the client 100 using SPROXY transaction. SPROXY transaction lists all the message interfaces in the integration repository. We have to choose our message interface Proxy_Interface_OB and click Create.</i>
this is a good point of discussion....
Ranjit,
i allready explained it to you: There are some mistakes in the blog, read the comment under the blog.
100 should act as XI, so you never go to ABAP stack at 100. 105 should act as Application System, so <b>there</b> you call SPROXY and execute the the proxys.
You post a lot, unfortunately you ignore the answers. I asked you twice: "How is your system configured?" Look at SXMB_ADM. Is it integration server? In that case you never need SPROXY there.
Udo
Khan,
I have followed the exact steps those are written in the blog...
also SPROXY run in client 100 doesnt give any error.
more over of course the blog shows that 100 is XI server.
as per Udo is trying so tell all the time (but in of course in indescent way which is not acceptable at all; there are Moderators to decide upon the no. of postings a user can do.It is not anyone else's descision, so I guess one should mind his own business!!) SPROXY is run in XI client which is configured as Integration Server...
If the blog has errors then it should be removed from there i guess or at least corrected.
Ranjit
Ranjit,
Client 100 of XI is IS right?
Client 105 of XI is the application server right?
Proxy should be run on the client 105 as this is my application system and 100 is the IS.
Clnt 100, SXMB_ADM....role of business syetm should be IS.
Clnt 105 SXMB_ADM....role of the busnies system should be application system.
Run the sproxy on the clnt 105 and let me know what's the status. ( assuming all the necessary configuraton is done on the clnt 105 of XI you should be able to see the interfacess)
regards
Khan
Thanks Khan,
It is working now!!
I know that SPROXY should be run on AS only (p.s. I am a certified developer)...but I still was wondering why doesnt the SPROXY run on IS give an error may be something should be done for this...
Anyway I have had a lot of discussion have to close now...
thanks all for your answers
hope to continue to get ur valuable support!!
Has the connection between R3 and XI been established ???

Hi,
Check whether you have connection to IB and also do a connection test from SPROXY and check everything is working fine.

Kumar.
