Can "ship to" be made "Sold to party"

Hi

I have a ship to party (account group 0002) created alone, can someone help me to know if i could extend same as "SOLD to" as well.

Hi Kalpesh,

Yes. Use [XD07]

You can only change the account group of a customer to a higher level.

For example, you cannot change the account group of a sold-to party to

the account group of a bill-to party (which has a more limited role).

You can, however, change the account group of a bill-to party to that of

a sold-to party, thereby extending the role of the customer.

this can done by using account group change XD07

given the customer no-> enter>select sales area ---> change the account group

Ya, u can create a sold-to-party and in its partner functions give your ship-to-party as the ship-to-party for this sold-to-party, then both will be same. Also you can create the sold-to-party with same name as your ship-to-party....
