CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists: .........

Hi, i´m creating a new technical system in sld, but when finish, appear this error: "CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists: SAP_IPServicePort.CreationClassName="SAP_IPServicePort",Name="sapmsCER",SystemCreationClassName="SAP_BCMessageServer",SystemName="CER.HostName.netweaver.ServiceName.sapmsCER""

I go to Content Maintenance but not appear nothin... What happend?

This is because you have already created a BC Message server for the mentioned system if you want to create again then remove the previous one and try again.

Hi, I get the same error and find the solution:

First delete the technical system.

Than click Administration on main page of sld and than on 'Content Maintenance'.

In the Content Maintenance Page select the Class 'Installed Products (#)' and than delete your systeme there too.

Now you can recreate the system.

while defining d connection,make sure you have selected Dictionary Meta Data.

did u navigate 2 content maintainence dis way:

Technical System name already Exists.

Try deleting Technical system from SLD which you created and create a technical system again.

1.Go to content maintenance

2.then to landscape definition

3.Delete JCO message server destination & JCO application server destination

Appear the same error. 1)Go To Filters and give our Technical System Name to chk the availity of TS.

2)Is there any TS with the same name ?

if there z try with some other name....

Only are two, and one has name J2E on clariana and the other (that i create) CER on netweaver...

Remove the one that you are getting there, CER on netweaver and then try creating new.

Just cross check once. It seems to me that you might have missed out to remove one of the thing and thus you are getting the message that instance already exists.
