VC 6.0 installation problem

Hi,

Trying to install VC 6.0 on Win2000 Server SP3 with MSSQLSERVER. I checked all the necessary preinstallation steps from the Installation Guide.

In an intermediate step... the "Next" is not enabled.

Virtual Directory Names:

Home Directory: VCServer

Data Directory: VCData

I could not proceed to complete installation.

Can anyone suggest a clue why Next button is not enabled.

Do you have IIS configured in the Win2000 server.

Yes. The service is up and running. I followed all the steps from the installation guide, in this regard.

Your machine is not on a domain. You will either need to place it on a domain or add a default dns extension to the machine so that it has a fully qualified domain name.
