Logon to educational IDES

I am able to logon to the educational IDES from home, but when I try to Logon from work I am getting the following error:

Partner '76.195.17.84' not reached

Component: NI (network interface)

Version: 39

Method: NiBufConnect: Connection pending after 1000ms

Return Code: -10

System Call: connect

Error No: 10035

I am able to ping 76.195.17.84 from work. What do I need to change/install to be able to connect.

hi,

ping that ip from ur home system.if u get response it os okay.if u get requst timed out check the firewal.also check the server is in public ip or private ip.

Hi,

Are you able to ping from home? If not, must be a network error check if you have any firewall installed in your machine (if XP, disable the firewall there).
