Setting a default value in a field

Can we set a default value in the input parameter field through VC?

Any help will be appreciated

I can't see any formula field. I see only initialization, validation, computation and formatting fields.

Click on the input port, select a field from the field list by double-clicking on it and enter a default value in the formula-field.
