Hi,
I have a problem where since the past few days, the database size started growing rapidly. A basic analyzation i have seen the PSAPSID tablespace was growing drastically.
The system is a BI7.0 with oracle 10g on aix box.
Can anybody help any best ways to analyze this.
I have still gone into and found the table which is of largest data, that is RSBERRORLOG.
Now can anybody tell which error logs will be stored here. becoz.. i found no abap dumps and system logs in the system., the system performance is pretty good.
but, there is not really that much data, where the size increases so rapidly.
Now how can I delete the complete data in that table . Will it impact anything. Can i do it from SAP or need to do from brtools.
Please help with any ideas.!!
Thanks for the same.!
Venki
Hi,
This is due the fact that BI stores retundant data from the loading process also in this Tablespace. Usually there is a TS like PSAPSIDODS which helds all this data.
The same is vailed for PSAPSIDFACT and PSAPSIDDIM
Best Regards
Roland
