How to give target to sales Employee

Hi Gurus,

I have a scenario if anybody can plz help? My client requires to give sales target to its Sales employees. How do i create a sales employee and how do i give sales target to it.Can anybody plz explain in details.

Sales employee create patner function first and assing to particukar custonmers group or sales office or sales distcit where the sales employee is servicing and whne ever the order raising to one cutomers it should pick the corresponding sales employee, before that you need to maintain the zfeild for fixing the targets to particalur sales employee, and one z report need to be there for validation.

how do you maintain a field for fixing the targets to a particular sales employee and the report for validation?

thanks. also have the same requirement from my client. won't be using HR for sales employee but they want to see the sales target.
