ABAP API Connection Problem

Hi All,

I am using MDM 5.5.

When I am trying to connect to MDM, its giving an error

<b>'Server return code 0x8002000E: File failed a crc check'</b>

We are using the add-on MDM_TECH 554(Add-On Installation), release 554_640

on SAP 640

Please help.

Hi Nikhil,

which MDM Version are you using? It is very important that you choose the correct provider class in transaction MDMAPIC for your MDM Server!

As you're using SAP WebAS 6.40, ensure that you install the latest released API Addon MDM_TECH for 640 in your system. Then choose the correct provider class in MDMAPIC. The provider class tells you the MDM releases it is usable for (you can directly see the build number!). The build number MUST match with you MDM Server build!

Hi Nikhil,

the package to install is MDM_TECH 555_700 with the following two support packages:

- 000001 SAPK-57001INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 555_700: patch 0001

- 000002 SAPK-57002INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 555_700: patch 0002
