Hi All,
I am using MySQL as Database and able to connect it right.
Problem is when I am trying to insert data into one of the table in Fixed Query,
After I press 'Test' button it gives this error
'A SQL Error has occurred on query, Can not issue data manipulation statements with executeQuery()..'
Please suggest
Rupesh
Hi Rupesh,
Try selecting "Command" instead of "Fixed Query" option.

Hi,
One more point. Test the query with Fixed query mode. You will get the error.
But in DB data is inserted/deleted/updated. Check this .
Whenever you run the query in Fixed Query mode it expects some result set from DB. Usually insert delete or update command don't return a result set.
When you have to execute some stored procedures which will give some results you can use Fixed Query.
Best Practise for executing insert/delete/update use command mode.
Hope this helps.
