Vendor upload from R/3

Hi,

We are in SRM 5.0.

We want to upload vendors from R/3.A root organization has been created in SRM for the vendor.In the tcode BBPGETVD when we are entering the vendor root organization in Object ID under organization object for vendors the system is not recognizing the same and is throwing the error"Organizational unit 50000869 does not exist"where 50000869 is the root org for the vendor.The F4 help is also not working for this field.

Kindly throw some light to the problem.
