Could not able to release/activate the Web Service

Dear all,

Under SE 80,I created a Virtual interface and assigned this to the webservice.My intention is to use the Function module as a WebService

When I am trying to activate the same it says Error during activation "Message no. WS_TOOL085".

Do we need to register these some where before using?

in UDDI Tab when i go to display mode ,it is navigating to a page where the message is no UDDI registries defined.

Where to define UDDI?

Kindly clarify.

Hi ,

Are you going to regiter WSDL in UDDI registry ?

then steps as folows ....

1. In Visual Adminserverservicesweb services containerruntime UDDI Sever

2. Press Reset DB to Preload the base tModels & taxonomies.

3. give as ‘yes’

4. Goto UsersCreate new user called user in Level Tier 1.

5. Goto  Http providervirtual hosts->General.

Ensure the Directory List has enabled

Is it necessary to Register the same for Releasing the Webservices?

if you exposing ur FUnction module as webserivce then you need to configure the Function module to be exposed as webservuices once itis configured goto wsadmin and release it.to see our webservice goto wsconfig
