Safety Days greater than 100: Mapping in R/3

Dear All,

Kindly help with the following urgent problem -

We have SS days greater than 100 for a market on APO. The same cannot be maintained in R/3 as the field(SHZET) is taking only 2 digit values - the relevant field is Days Coverage in R/3 on MRP2.

Any ideas how this can be maintained in R/3 but be interpretted as three digit no. in APO through CIF or mapping of some alternate field in R/3 to SVTTY( Safety days) in APO.

Also, provide pros and cons for the approach. Reward points assured;)

this is about changing the vlaues in APO directly and not using the CIF to change the values:-

how are you maintaining the Safety method? or any other APO specific data for that matter

if you are using SZ or SM how are you getting that populated in the APO product master? is it with some LSMW or MASSD?

You can use the same method to overwrite the Safety Days supply

You can also use Lot size profile to populate this but still have to assign lot size profile to the product
