Hi SM,

Please try to terminate the Process of SPAM and re-start to Import them again.

While doing so also check that the background job RDDIMPDP is running (While importing Support Packages).

May be you can go to SM50 and delete the workprocess running for import of Support packages and then re-initiate it.

And if that is not possible, please go to the OS level and terminate the process using the dpmon utility(make sure you login using sidadm).

I hope that this helps you!

Prem

I have mentioned the command on OS level. it is dpmon.

Details: dpmon pf=ENTER THE INSTANCE PROFILE PARAMETER PATH HERE

After this you can monitor and administer the processes.

Hello SM,

After you get the process screen you need to press 'm' and then enter to go to the main menu. From there you need to select the work process table by entering 'p'

then you can select the process that you would want to kill by entering first 'K' and then the process number.

I hope that answers your query.

Please reward points incase if it's useful for you!

Regards,

Prem

Thanks for your answer.

But i cannot see any process running, all work processes are in wait status.

but still spam is running.

If that is the case then, you can terminate the SPAM window and then - restart the SAP Instance and then execute SPAM and resume the Import for SP10 of BASIS & ABAP.

What did you do and what was the response to that??

kindly state in detail. Did you do a stopsap and then startsap ?

And incase if the background job is not runnig please schedule it manually.

And then again resume SPAM.....

Please make sure the archive logs are not full.

Hello Shark,

You need to user DDIC for this purpose. It will have the authorizations. Anyways authorizations should be last thing to stop you for resolving this issue.
