how do we determine shipping data in sto's.....?

Hi Rahul,

Your question is not clear are you getting an error while execution ME21n saying shipping point could not be determined or what.

If you could explain a bit specifically we might be able to help better.

Otherwise shipping point is determined by

The shipping conditions, the delivering plant in Customer master

and the transportation zone and loading group in Material Master Just check if you have maintained these details.

Also ensure that you have extended the customer for sales areas of both the plants and same with material.

Hi Rahul,

If you are getting a error of Shipping data while creating the STO then maintain the material master for both the Plants for the Distribution channel / Division for which you have configured the STO.

For reference of the configuration use the following path:

IMG> Materials Management> Purchasing> Purchase Order> Set up Stock Transport Order--> Define Shipping Data for Plants. Here you can select the Plants between which the STO is to be carried out and check the details for Distribution chanel & Division and the Internal Customer no. for Plant.

In VL10B, you can give either shipping point or the receiving plant...for the STO you would be able to see the receiving plant.

Please make sure that your STO is delivery relevant and secondly you are using the correct date for filter.
