My attempt to create a new forum for SAP SEM
(and I hoped that there would be a place for SAP SEM-BCS (consolidation)) has helped a little in appearing of a new SAP CPM forum:
But the new forum is dedicated completely to new SAP-bought applications.
There is no place for old (and mature) apps like SEM-BCS. BCS is outlawed!
If anyone is interested in info regarding SAP SEM-BCS, and a seperate place (forum and wiki) where one could find the info need, please vote for a new SAP SEM-BCS forum/wiki creaton.
I vote for a SAP SEM-BCS forum.

I'm happy to report that we will create a SEM-BCS space.
That will be a dedicated space in the wiki as opposed to an underlying step page :-).
I'll need: info about the purpose of this space, high level summary of what is to be designed, discussed, included.
I'll also need the name of a dedicated moderator.
Please fill out these details to the best of your abilities.
Topic name:
Short, unique name: (eg. Business One = B1)
Reasoning behind the request:
List each person's name and SDN user id:
How many expected users initially
How many expected users eventually
Expected life:
Name & user id of moderators:
Name of sponosoring Product Manager/Solution Manager:
If there is a corresponding forum or homepage, please list:
Thank you Marilyn,
Here are my answers (anybody is welcomed to make the better proposals):
Topic name:
SEM Business Consolidation
Short, unique name: (eg. Business One = B1)
SEM-BCS
Reasoning behind the request:
The SEM-BCS - relevant questions are posted either in ERP Financials or in BI forums. The new Corporate Performance Management forum is dedicated to new, recently bought products only. Because of absence of the BCS forum, there is no wiki-space for it.
List each person's name and SDN user id:
The question is not understandable. Each, up to 1 000 000 SDN users?
How many expected users initially
50
How many expected users eventually
> 50
Expected life:
Several years.
Name & user id of moderators:
It's not an easy way to become a good SEM-BCS consultant. Mainly, because of needed sound knowledge of finance/accounting. Absence or poor such knowledge becomes evident for a client immediately. IMHO, that's why I didn't notice yet any noise and point hunters. Moreover, the number of daily posts is not so many.
So, either the forum is yet be nonmoderated or anybody (me included) who wants it may become the mod.

Eugene is a moderator. Please let me know if anyone else will take moderation upon themselves.
I hope to see a lot of new content there soon.
