Can any one explain me the pros and cons of using BPM..

Basically BPM concept will come into scenario when some typical process takes place like

a) Collect Pattern - Multiple Message Collection and Time Based

b) Multi Cast - ParForEach(Simultaneously sending to all), ForEach (Sending message one after the other to all)

c) Serilisation

d) Syn-Asyn Bridge

3. By using above features you can control the message processes according to your requirement.

BPM's are very resource intensive. for example if you are trying do a simple

scenario of just receiving a msg and sending out the msg without BPM in this case only 2 msg's are created in the integration server but if you try to do the same using a BPM using a send step and receive step then 4 msg instances and 3 wrok items are created for doing the same task.

Also BPM's cannot control any processes with in the applications.
