ABAP error - MESSAGE_TYPE_X while record (using scripting)

Hi,

I'm using SAPGUI 6.40 patch 18-26.

I encounter an ABAP error when select from a search help while record a script.

It happens in some specific scenarios (transactions).

<u>For example (while record):</u>Enter transaction IK03 , then select <b>Measuring point</b> from from a search help,and enter.

Most of the time you will get this ABAP error.

I found a workaround : changing in help->settings ,then F4 Help from Control or System defaults to Dialog (modal).

<b>Question</b>: Do you know about a way to overcome this error without changing the F4 Help settings ?

Hello Assaf Haoyut,

unfortunately there is no implementation for a scripting wrapper for the Control F4 help. So the only way to use F4 help with Scripting is to change the F4 help to modal.
