Port Copy

Former Member

Dear MDM Experts,

I would like to copy port details of table Ports from one repository to an other. How can I do it? We have more tha 15 ports, and 5 repositories, so the manual execution would take quite long time, but unfortunately I don't have any other idea. And you?

Thanks and regards,

Ádá

Hi, Adam

According to <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/20751e78-f81f-2a10-228f-eb3a16421b4d">"How to transport Master Data Management (MDM) objects between MDM 5.5 systems"</a> how-to guide, transport of port is not supported yet. Any changes in the first repository have to be tracked and manually maintained in the target repository.

Hi Adam,

Vadim's reply is correct. With the current release, this is manual work. SP6 will show some improvements in this area.

BR Michael.

PS: copying means that you have to copy the import maps, too!

Hi Adam,

export you data in Excel or a text file and then use Import Manager in order to import data in the tables of others repository.

'Ports' are data you have to transport, true??

Hoper this help you.
