Hi All
We have a strange user requirement. They want certain approvers to not be able to use the 'Substitution' functionality in SRM. So when the approver goes out-of-office, they want certain users to contact Admin to assign substitute. Is there a way to limit the substitute by user or to all-together stop this feature? Is there an authorization object that can allow this?
Also, the other requirement is that they want the approvers to only substitute within or over their spending limits. Any BADI that we can use to restrict this?

Hi,
Yes there is a BADI to limit the substitutes. What I would suggest for the no-sub option is to limit the substitutes to none.
The more complex problem is how to get an admin person to setup the sub. We use function module 'RH_SUBSTITUTES_LIST', but there might be a better way.
