<b>Hi Gurus..

We are upgrading SRM 2(EBP 3.5) to SRM 5.0. My question is there SRM 5 functionality needs Java as a instance?. Do we have to install Java as Add-On? Please reply me as early as possible. You response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

For simple e-procurement scenario, the JAVA instance is not required.

A J2EE is used for Live Auction and for SRM-MDM catalog.

Hope this helps,
