REG SAPTECHED'07 BANGALORE Clarification with 1 yrs of Current Orgo.

Hi Expertz.

Just now i got a mail saying that registration is opened for TECHED'07.

I come across the URL.

In that for certification eligibility we should complete 12 months in Current

organaisation.<b><u> Is it compulsory</u></b>. Why Because i have just completed

6months here in my current organaisation and i have more than 3 yrs of exp in

SAP with various organaisations.

Please let me know wether am eligible for ASSOCIATE LEVEL CERTIFICATION

IN THE BI AREA.

<b>OR all of the below:</b>

Should have served current employer for at least 12 months

For Associate level certification exams, a minimum of 1-3 years of experience

For Professional level certification exams, a minimum of 3-7 years of experience

Thanks for the info..

Infact before posting this question its elf i come across the things.Like what u

mentioned the earlier post.

The Major thing is like i mentioned is it necessary to stay one year with current

organaization to take up the certification.

If consulatnt posess morethan 3 yrs and he recently switching to some other orgo

in March'07 or some other sub sequent months then abviously he wont get 1 yr

with current orgo . In such a situation what he needs to do.. Bcz same thing i am

facing..

Hi

I too have same query.Can anybody clarify this point that one should been with current organisation for at least one year.

Additionally I want to ask if certification in C_ABAP_70 is requisite for taking P_ABAP_SI_70. Is that a recommendation or compulsory?

Wolud you know what are the materials would one have to be through to pass the cretification " <b>C_ABAP_70 SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0"</b>

Hi Gururaj,

Check the C_ABAP_70 syllabus on SAP website to have a better idea what all the topics are necessary to cover for certification. Here there are two section first section cover 60% and second section covers 40% topics. Check the below link for the same:

Hi Kishore,

Usually SAP wants that the candidate should be working with the current organization from more than one year but its all not mandatory. At the time of applying for the certification SAP will give you one form where you have to mention your total experience in SAP and the duration with the current company. If your current company is ready to give you the certificate of your stay there I think there would not much problem.

Why do not you tell your concern person in your organization to talk to SAP in this regard. If they find it okay then you can go for the certification.
