CMS: User User is not allowed to do this function is not allowed

Hi all,

While exporting Software Component verision from IR through CMS I get following error:

Sent on 8/30/07 at 12:25 PM: Unable to establish connection to CMS server http://EAPSDEV15062:50100. Unable to transfer the following transport lists: Export list (send time = 8/30/07 8:25 PM, component = Default Software Component, ID = 0a6a4d6056f411dca9c9005056b000ec) Details: User User is not allowed to do this function is not allowed to do this function Check the availability of the CMS and the user authorizations and send the transport request again if necessary.

I have checked that the user is not locked.

I have also checked the roles assigned to PIREPUSER an PIDIRUSER.

Also the following roles have been assigned to the user LSADMIN.

• SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER

• SAP_XI_CMS_SERV_USER

Please suggest.

Hey,

I guess you already seen the howto guide

Notes 790075 and 780297 may solve your problem,

if not check the following lines in the exhcangeProfile

com.sap.aii.repository.serviceuser.name.cms = XISUPER ( or a user that has authorization to send transport in integration builder)

com.sap.aii.repository.serviceuser.pwd.cms = ****

Create the XISUPER user in JDI box too with CMS.Administrator group having CMS.administrate actions.

And try sending it again using xisuper.

I Assigned the users LSADMIN and user authorised to transport, to the role CMSAdministrator in UME and it worked.
