Batch characteristics in PO

HI SRM Gurus,

we are using CCM for lot purchasing which will be having batch characteristics in EBP PO, is it possible to carry these values to PO in R/3 while replication as this will be used for GR posting.Kindly advice the way to achieve this functionality either through badi's or through any other method.

Hi,

in order to achieve your functionnality follows these steps:

1- Define in SRM your customer fields in your SC item and PO item

2- Define in SAP your customer fields in your PO item

Normally the data will be transfered in standard from SRM PO to SAP PO, but depending on CUF fields type it may not work: Then implement BADI for PO data transfer to add you fields transfer.

HI Vadim,

Thank you for the suggestion,but in our business scenario,PO structure in r/3 will be used by other process as well and they don't want to see these additional fields while creating a PO,is there any other method of pulling these values from srm to r/3 so that these values will be used while doing automatic GR against PO.

Hi,

If your "automatic GR" is done in SRM, then you can complete your GR with SC or PO values with BADI change.

NB: Having customer fields in the Backend PO doesn't mean that the users will see them in R/3.
