Dear All,
We are having a problem with autoCAD drawings on which if some one as put some redllining layers & if u chkout the drawing without seeing the layers, the drawing doesnot checkin since the drawing is saved in temp directary but since the layers are not seen they are not checked out in the same so while checking in it gives an error 'Error while checking & storing C:\Documents and settings/user.profile\localsetiings\temp\drawing name.
Can anyone tell that is this a standard system behavior since if the autoCAD Drawing is chkedout the layer is not chked out but will checking in it gives a error since the layer is not found, but if i see the layers they get chkout in temp folder & then the drawing is chked in easily.
Help will be appreciated.

Hi Niranjan,
I am in the process of finding the solution to this problem,
I am using AutoCAD Vanilla 2006, with interface cedeon software 4.0.0.0
Are u using the same? What is ur interface version?Have u tried applying the patches for the the interface since patch version 2 is available for the interface software?
Regards
Nishant...
