Dear Gurus,

we are presently working on SRM archiving assignment.

we are testing a scenario in which SCs with attachments are archived.

just we want to check even after archiving a SC is this attachment will be available if we check in " Find in archive" i.e archive files.

any OSS notes available for this.

In which table these attachment related data got stored.

Hi Reddy,

There is a structure for archiving attachments BBP_PDATT.

See transaction SARA -> BBP_SC(object) -> Tables

The archiving usually creates files to store the data on the server and deletes the existing database entries to free space.

See transaction SARA -> BBP_SC(object) -> Customizing -> technical settings

I would suggest that you make a test with the archive program used to archive ebp documents : BBP_PD_ARCH_WRITE for one SC and then try to access it's attachment.
