Hello,

We are using SAP 4.6B and Oracle 8.1.7.4

One of colume in the table was changed from 13 characters to 30 characters. and it has warning when I run check the table.

Anybody knows that why it creates warning message for longer than 1962 colume size of table.

I created block size of 8K

Thank you in advance

which tables did you change? is this a sap standard table?

if this is a cluster table, you should not play around with changing field length as SAP puts many fields in 1 physical Oracle field.

Hello Eric,

This table is CBO table and it is not cluster table, either.

Do you know why it limit colume size to 1962?

Thanks in advance.
